Flat Survival Expanded is a Minecraft Bedrock add-on that makes a complete Survival journey possible in a Flat World, including the Nether and the End. This progression has been validated in gameplay.
Natural resources, three balanced machines, villager structures and an End Portal fill the resource gaps of a Flat World while keeping normal Minecraft Survival at the center of the experience.
You need Minecraft Bedrock Edition and a supported solid Flat World with the Flat Survival Expanded Behavior Pack enabled. Check the release information for Minecraft compatibility.
The add-on checks for uniform solid terrain layers down to bedrock. Aquatic, Void and normal or irregular terrain are not supported. Start in Survival and develop the resources provided by the installed structures.
Download the available .mcpack file from the Downloads page and open it with Minecraft to import the Flat Survival Expanded Behavior Pack.
Activate it under Behavior Packs in the settings of a supported solid Flat World, then enter the world. Back up an existing world before enabling or updating the pack. No separate Resource Pack is required.
Yes, on supported solid Flat terrain with enough suitable space. Back up your world first. A new installation searches already loaded terrain within 256 blocks for a suitable area, checking the space needed by all structures. It does not load distant chunks.
An installed world keeps its saved structures and machine progress. Older experimental layouts are not automatically migrated. If initial installation is interrupted or fails, reopening the world does not automatically replay it; report the issue instead.
Flat Survival Expanded is being developed using stable Minecraft Bedrock add-on and scripting capabilities without requiring experimental gameplay features.
If this changes for a future release, the requirement should be documented in that release's information.
Flat Survival Expanded is distributed as a native Minecraft Bedrock add-on package (.mcpack or .mcaddon) and does not require installing any additional applications or executables.
For transparency, we provide a VirusTotal analysis report and a SHA-256 checksum for supported releases. You can review the security report and independently verify that your downloaded file matches the published checksum.
These verification methods help users inspect the download, but they do not guarantee that any file is completely free from security risks. We recommend downloading Flat Survival Expanded only from our official website.
